Protests ahead of midterm elections

President Trump was in Topeka on Saturday, October 6 to endorse Kris Kobach for Kansas governor at a rally.

Protestors waited outside the Kansas Expocentre to express their disapproval of Kobach.

“I do not want Kris Kobach,” Jim Valliant said. “He’s a Brownback 2.0”

This year’s midterm elections are crucial for both parties in Kansas.

One thing both republicans and democrats can agree on is the importance of voting.

“We are at a crucial point in our country and it’s very important for people to educated themselves, and getting out to vote.”

The deadline to register to vote in Kansas is October 16.
