31st Annual Lawrence Festival of Trees Helps Out Families in Need Blog Local News 12/01/2017 Tweet It’s finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Lawrence. That’s partially because of the 31st annual Lawrence Festival of Trees. The event each year helps out families in need. The trees you see here are all for sale – local groups donated and decorated them. The festival will auction off to raise money for charity. This year, all proceeds are going to the Children’s Shelter in Lawrence. If you want to get in the Christmas spirit and check it out for yourself, the event lasts until December 3.
