Dining Rates to Increase Blog News 11/30/2016 Tweet Next year, University of Kansas students could see the highest increase in housing and dining rates yet. The University submitted a proposal to the Kansas Board of Regents on Wednesday. It was reviewed by campus groups and student representatives. The cost of a typical dining and housing plan would go up by 4.9 percent, an extra $474 than what students pay now. Five other universities in Kansas are looking to increase rates as well. The Board of Regents is expected to accept the proposal in December.
