In 2013, Kansas legislature passed a bill to allow concealed carry of hand guns on campus. KU Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little submitted the draft of the policy on Monday. The policy states any person 21 or older can have a concealed weapon in all buildings and public areas owned by the University. The policy change will go into effect July 1, 2017.
