Police Search for Suspects of Strong-Arm Robbery Blog News 02/01/2016 Tweet Early Sunday morning Lawrence police reported that a strong-armed robbery by four males occurred at the 1200 block of Ohio Street. The victim was walking along the sidewalk alone when the robbers approached him from the front and behind, said Lawrence Police Sgt. Trent McKinley. After a few blows to the head the suspects took the victim’s cellphone and fled the scene. Upon arrival, police noticed injuries to the victim’s head and suggested for an ambulance to come. The victim, however declined. McKinley says that nothing other than the cellphone was taken and that the victim has no idea who any of the men were that attacked him. Police are currently investigating for more information about the suspects and their motives, but no arrests have been made at this time.
