Eventful Week for KU Hoops Blog Sports 11/23/201511/23/2015 Tweet A hectic week just got even crazier for the Men’s Basketball team. After losing to Michigan State and preparing for a trip to Hawaii for the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, Junior 3-point specialist Brannen Greene was suspended for six games for “conduct detrimental to the team.” Greene's dispute w/ Self normally wouldn't warrant a 6 game suspension, but based on issues in the past, Self thought this was appropriate. — Nick Price (@NickPriceKU) November 21, 2015 Greene is averaging 12 PPG and has not missed a shot from the field this season. He was not allowed to travel with the team for their tournament in Maui, but will be allowed to practice with them when they return. He’s eligible to return from his six-game suspension on Saturday, Dec. 12 against Oregon State at the Sprint Center. Here's the full story on why Brannen Greene is suspended.
