Art exhibit raises nuclear awarness

The Lawrence Public Library is hosting a free for all exhibit about the nuclear history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to raise nuclear awareness.

Two local peace and justice groups received items from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Japan. These pieces are currently on display in the exhibit. Exhibit pieces include a posters before and after the A-Bomb. Organizers believe its important to remember the ugly periods in human history.
