Spring blood drive continues all week

The Community Blood Center began its spring blood drive this week. The Blood Center hopes to find an additional 250 student donors to reach their goal of collecting 1,200 units of blood.

To attract young volunteers, the Blood Center has been promoting blood donation at K-U and area high schools. However, anyone who donates blood will receive a free t-shirt and a package of cookies.

To catch the attention of people, the center's "Blood Vessel" trailers will be in front of the Kansas Union and the Student Recreation Center tomorrow. The Center's staff will also be stationed at Oliver Hall and McCollum Hall.
