Local car washes have seen an increase in business due to the nice weather. Drivers are washing away the dirt and grime before temperatures drop again.
According to The Weather Channel, January 2006 was the warmest on record in Kansas history. With an average of 39 degrees Fahrenheit, January is usually the coolest month of the year.
Forecasters predict the warm temperatures will carry into early February.
