After a practice at 11 a.m. Wednesday, five Jayhawks and five Cougars headed to Cook's Children Medical Center in Fort Worth to pay a special visit to patients.
Representing Kansas at the medical center was freshman Angus Quigley, Justin Thornton, Kerry Meier and Jeff Wheeler.
After the medical center visit, the Jayhawks ate as a team at the Reata in Fort Worth.
