The parking department may have a solution to the University's congested traffic. The department wants to start a park-and-ride system for faculty and staff at a new lot on west campus. However, the department director said convincing the staff to take part could be a challenge.

The Kansas Board of Regents has a way to pay for almost $600 million in maintenance projects needed at the state's six university campuses. But Republican critics say a tax hike won't pass in an election year.

Looking for the perfect holiday present? Some KU students might have just what you need. The student art sale runs Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week from noon to two. You can find anything from scarves to paintings at the event, located in the lobby of the Kansas Union. The majority of profits will go to the student artists.
