Dooley apologizes for post-game incident

Joe Dooley, Kansas men's basketball assistant coach, uttered an expletive toward Nevada forward Nick Fazekas after last night's 72-70 loss at Allen Fieldhouse.

Kansas men's basketball coach Bill Self said emotions ran high after the game and Dooley responded in an inappropriate manner.

Dooley apologized in a statement and said it was not how Kansas basketball should be represented.

Kansas Athletics officials would not make any further comment regarding the incident.
