A new face took the volleyball court Saturday, and Jayhawk fans should get to know her.
Freshman setter Annika Carlson is the future of the position. Next season she will replace senior Ainise Havili, who will leave the program after this season with the all-time assists record. In just her second appearance this season, she made an impressive mark earning assists on three of the four points she played. Carlson shined but she was just happy to be on the court.
KU swept Texas tech, and will host Oklahoma Wednesday night.
