Blizzard won big, taking home best game direction, best multiplayer, best E-sports game and game of the year for “Overwatch.” Other winners included Pokemon Go for best mobile and for best family game,”Witcher 3: Blood and Wine” for RPG and Doom, who edge outed the highly anticipated Battlefield 1, for best action game. However, the biggest news to come out of the Game Awards was Telltale Games’s announcement that the company will be releasing a Guardians of the Galaxy game series. The series will contain five episode and is set to release in 2017. Season pass discs will be available in stores with the first episode, in addition to downloads of every additional episode as they are released.
