Initiative Would Make High-Speed Internet Available to Every Kansas School Blog News 12/01/2016 Tweet Affordable high-speed Internet will soon be available to every Kansas school. Governor Brownback announced the Kansas Connect and Learn initiative would increase Internet access in all public schools. The initiative is a partnership between the state and a nonprofit organization “education-super-highway.” Brownback estimates that around 300 rural schools lack the Internet connection they need. Brownback hopes this initiative will be complete within the next three years.
