2017 Free State Music Festival Cancelled Blog Entertainment 11/04/2016 Tweet Organizers of the Free State Music Festival have cancelled the 2017 week long event due to lack of funding. In the past, the festival has included movie premieres, art galleries and huge musical acts such as Kris Krisofferson, George Clinton and Public Enemy.
