Students Scammed Via Online Vehicle Sale Blog News 10/14/2016 Tweet Two University of Kansas students were scammed when trying to buy vehicles online. As a result of the incident, the University of Kansas Public Safety Office released a statement. “When you’re trying to look at motor vehicles, trust reliable sites, such as Carfax or online dealers that have real sites. Be real careful of tying to buy vehicles off of Craigslist or even eBay. Make sure that it is a real eBay site,” the statement said.
