KU Architecture Class Unveils Sustainable House

A KU Architecture class unveiled a new, sustainable house for sale in east Lawrence, at 12th and Pennsylvania.

The cedar-sided house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, is ADA Accessible and has solar panels on the roof.

The house was built by the class of Studio 804 with an associated non-profit corporation.

There is currently a contract pending, but the public can visit the house on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Studio 804 classes have also built the addition to the lecture room in Marvin Hall and the Galileo’s Pavilion building at Johnson County Community College.
