Debate Duo Captures Second Place at National Debate Tournament News 04/11/201604/11/2016 Tweet After four days of competition, freshman Sion Bell and sophomore Quaram Robinson brought home second place at this year’s National Debate Tournament in Binghamton, NY. The team subsequently fell to Harvard University in the championship round. The debate team has placed first at the tournament in 2015, 2008 and 2006. The team has also captured five national championships and have qualified for the National Debate Tournament for 48 consecutive years.
