Sure, America’s Got Talent, but we have some pretty talented students right here at KU. Students had their chance to show off their skills at SUA’s annual show KU’s got talent.
The Lied center hosted the annual competition Wednesday, with local radio voice Hartzell Gray as MC.
Fan favorite and the first place prize ultimately went to Patrick Canny with a yo-yo performance in which the judges noted his great rhythm and musicality.
Another act was one of the newer dance teams on campus, KU Jeeva, combining hip-hop, contemporary and other styles of dance.
The first-prize winner received a 400 dollar prize, with second and third place receiving 200 dollar and 100 dollar prizes.
