Student Union Activities hosted a tasty competition today, trying to determine which KU student makes the best hamburgers.
The event was held in the first floor of the Kansas Union, and free to all students with their KU Ids.
“I think it’s a good way to showcase the different talents of KU students,” sophomore Patrick Blanchard said, the organizer of the event. “I feel like we have some talented chefs out there.”
Competitors had until March 1 to send in their recipes, and SUA chose the best four to compete last Thursday.
“I think it’s cool cause it’s free,” junior Adam Moore said. “We get to try all different types of burgers.”
Moore came with two other friends and said he voted for the blue cheese burger as his favorite.
